The CSU Food Pantry is a program of the Office of Community Outreach and led by the Community Outreach Ambassadors. The Food Pantry provides free food and related items to students facing food insecurities who are in need of assistance. The Food Pantry provides supplemental support, by means of canned vegetables, fruits, soups, pasta or rice, canned protein, breakfast items, toiletries and other non-perishable items. Thanks to donations made from student organizations, staff, and faculty, we also supply grocery store gift cards for perishable items.
Students seeking Food Pantry items must complete an application that includes providing what meal preparation items they have available so we can best serve them. If a student is in need of additional food, we help by referring them to other food programs in the Columbus, Fort Benning, and Phenix City area. The CSU Food Pantry is a welcoming and supportive student community - we are here to serve.
